“GOOD MORNING, COLTANO!”

Venerdì 15 – Sabato 16 – Domenica 17 Luglio 2022, dalle ore 18 alle ore 22, trasmissione live da Coltano (PI), progetto ideato e curato da Code per Curiosi APS, in collaborazione con WeRadio, Radio Coltano Marconi e Marconi Labs.

Seguendo la suggestione del concept del Festival 110 Hertz, è nostra intenzione rivivere il momento in cui Marconi trasmise il primo segnale radio oltreoceano, proprio da Coltano.

Metteremo in connessione luoghi distanti nel mondo, quali l’Irlanda o Berlino, arrivando fino in Chiapas, Messico, viaggiando in quel mare magnum che è oggi la comunicazione via web. Da Coltano vogliamo mandare un segnale di Pace che unisca tutti, artisti che interverranno al Festival, comunità e territori vicini e lontani, periferie e zone rurali, sotto il segno delle Arti performative, della Musica, della Scienza e della Cultura, che qui coesistono con il Paesaggio e con la Natura, grazie alla peculiarità di questo luogo e del suo Genius Loci. 

VENERDI’ 15 LUGLIO 

  • 18:00 apertura, presentazione progetto radio “Good Morning, Coltano!”
  • 18:15 AREA meets the World, presentazione del network AREA, Arts in Rural European Areas. Incontro con F. Giannetti, Prof. di Telecomunicazioni presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione, dell’Università di Pisa e Presidente del Comitato Scientifico dell’associazione Marconi Labs Coltano. Temi: storia di Marconi in relazione a Coltano, rapporto Uomo-Natura nella ricerca scientifica
  • 19:30 intervista con Anna Maria Monteverdi e presentazione della mostra “Liberare Arte da Artisti. Giacomo Verde, artivista”, a cura di Luca Fani, presso il CAMeC di La Spezia
  • 19:45 DJ set Black Music, a cura di Dj Karim. “Those who say it can’t be done are usually interrupted by others doing it” James A. Baldwin
  • 21:00 intervista con Streetto, start-up innovativa che, in collaborazione con il Comune, si pone l’obiettivo di ripopolare il centro storico di Cammarata (AG), attirando nuovi cittadini e creando una nuova comunità. Temi: modelli di partecipazione dal basso nella rigenerazione urbana
  • 21:30 interviste con gli artisti di strada presenti al Festival

SABATO 16 LUGLIO

  • 18:00 presentazione e intervista con Eleonora Gerbotto, direttrice della Fondazione per l’Architettura / Torino (TO) e Chiara Organtini, project manager di Lavanderia a Vapore, Collegno (TO). Temi: il concetto di cura e l’attivazione di processi partecipativi bottom-up, declinati in due diverse prospettive di progettazione culturale, tra l’architettura e le performing arts.
  • 19:00 intervista con Matteo Frasca, pedagogista e educatore musicale, coordinatore di Radio Freccia Azzurra. Temi: progetti legati all’infanzia che danno voce al punto di vista dei bambini
  • 19:45 DJ set Black Music, a cura di Dj Karim. “So early in my life I had learned that if you want something you had better make some noise”, Malcolm X
  • 21:15 intervista con Massimiliano Mautone, ideatore di BLOC FEST, festival nelle aree interne del Parco nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni (SA). Temi: modelli di azione che a partire dalle criticità del territorio immaginano nuovi futuri in termini di cittadinanza attiva, inclusione e responsabilità, coinvolgendo giovani cilentani nella cura del territorio

DOMENICA 17 LUGLIO

  • 18:00 AREA meets the World. Intervista con Diana Itzu Luna, del colectivo Espacio de Lucha contra el Olvido y la Represión, parte de la Red de Resistencias y Rebeldías AJMAQ, Chiapas, Messico. Temi: la difesa dei territori abitati dalle comunità indigene e la rete Zapatista, modelli di organizzazione, autodeterminazione e autonomia alimentare
  • 19:00 intervista con Giulio Benigni, referente del Presidio “Giancarlo Siani” Libera Pisa. Temi: riappropriazione di spazi confiscati alla Criminalità Organizzata in un’ottica di rigenerazione sociale
  • 19:45 DJ set Black Music, a cura di Dj Karim.”The secret of life is to have no fear”, Fela Kuti
  • 21:15 interviste con artisti presenti al Festival

Inoltre ci collegheremo con Radio Sherwood, storica emittente di Padova, con Radio 3 Network, emittente di Poggibonsi (SI) e con Radio Sankara, che ha sede a Viareggio (LU). “GOOD MORNING, COLTANO!”

Friday the 15th – Saturday the 16th – Sunday 17th of July 2022, from 6 to 10 pm, live broadcast from Coltano (PI), concept and coordination by Code per Curiosi APS, in collaboration with WeRadio, Radio Coltano Marconi and Marconi Labs.

Following the suggestion of the 110 Hertz Festival concept, it is our intention to relive the moment in which Marconi broadcast the first overseas radio signal, right from Coltano.

We will connect distant places in the world, such as Ireland or Berlin, reaching as far as Chiapas, Mexico, traveling in that mare magnum that is today communication via the web. From Coltano we want to send a signal of Peace that unites everyone, artists who will participate in the Festival, communities and territories near and far, suburbs and rural areas, under the sign of Performing Arts, Music, Science and Culture, which here coexist with the Landscape and with Nature, thanks to the peculiarity of this place and its Genius Loci.

FRIDAY 15 JULY

  • 18:00 opening, presentation of the radio project “Good Morning, Coltano!”
  • 18:15 AREA meets the World, presentation of the AREA network, Arts in Rural European Areas. Meeting with F. Giannetti, Professor of Telecommunications at the Department of Information Engineering, of the University of Pisa and President of the Scientific Committee of the Marconi Labs Coltano association. Themes: Marconi’s story in relation to Coltano, Man-Nature relationship in scientific research
  • 19:30 interview with Anna Maria Monteverdi and presentation of the exhibition “Liberating Art from Artists. Giacomo Verde, artivista”, curated by Luca Fani, at the CAMeC in La Spezia
  • 7.45pm DJ set Black Music, curated by Dj Karim. “Those who say it can’t be done are usually interrupted by others doing it” James A. Baldwin
  • 21:00 interview with Streetto, an innovative start-up which, in collaboration with the Municipality, aims to repopulate the historic center of Cammarata (AG), attracting new citizens and creating a new community. Topics:bottom-up participation models in urban regeneration
  • 21:30 interviews with the street artists present at the Festival

SATURDAY 16 JULY

  • 18:00 presentation and interview with Eleonora Gerbotto, director of the Foundation for Architecture / Turin (TO) and Chiara Organtini, project
  • manager of Lavanderia a Vapore, Collegno (TO). Themes: the concept of care and the activation of bottom-up participatory processes, declined in two different perspectives of cultural design, between architecture and the performing arts.
  • 19:00 interview with Matteo Frasca, pedagogist and music educator, coordinator of Radio Freccia Azzurra. Themes: projects related to childhood that give a voice to the point of view of children

  • 21:15 interview with Massimiliano Mautone, creator of BLOC FEST, a festival in the internal areas of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano (SA). Themes: action models that, starting from the criticalities of the territory, imagine new futures in terms of active citizenship, inclusion and responsibility, involving young Cilento people in the care of the territory
  • 21:45 interviews with artists present at the Festival

SUNDAY 17 JULY

  • 18:00 AREA meets the World. Interview with Diana Itzu Luna, of the colectivo Espacio de Lucha contra el Olvido y la Represión, part of the Red de Resistencias y Rebeldías AJMAQ, Chiapas, Mexico. Themes: the defense of the territories inhabited by indigenous communities and the Zapatista network, models of organization, self-determination and food autonomy
  • 19:00 interview with Giulio Benigni, contact person of the Libera association- against the Mafias, Presidio di Pisa, “Giancarlo Siani”. Themes: re-appropriation of spaces confiscated from Organized Crime with a view to social regeneration
  • 19:45 DJ set Black Music, curated by Dj Karim. “The secret of life is to have no fear”, Fela Kuti
  • 9.15 pm interviews with artists present at the Festival 

We will also connect with Radio Sherwood, a historic station from Padua, with Radio 3 Network, a station from Poggibonsi (SI) and with Radio Sankara, which is based in Viareggio (LU). During the three days of the Festival it will also be possible to visit us and stop in the space dedicated to the radio, near the Villa Medicea.
